We must commit to translating the concept of trust into the reality of trust, through our words and our actions.
Trust begins with honesty, transparency and responsibility. Each of us must speak up when we see actions that undermine trust, are unethical, against the law, and/or not aligned with our values. We train our team to speak up when something isn't right, and this culture of speaking up defines who we are and how successfully we maintain trust with our clients and each other.
Talking is your obligation. Maintaining trust is everyone's responsibility. Building trust is our opportunity, and that starts here.

Age-based jokes are not acceptable in the workplace and can be seen as discriminatory. Even if the person with whom you are joking is not offended, others around you can be and interpret your comments as discriminatory.
Yes, you can accept the sports ticket without getting pre-approval if the value is below the $150 threshold and you are attending with them – this would be considered entertainment. If the value of the entertainment is above that threshold, please seek pre-approval from the Ethics and Compliance Office.
This should be disclosed here. The important thing to consider in this situation is whether there is an open opportunity or tender for this prospective business partner and/or vendor and how much the meal costs. Because you believe it is expensive and it’s a prospective partner, disclosing this is the best way to ensure it doesn’t appear that the partner only got the business because it offered benefits to our employees. This is particularly important if you are the decisions maker on whether that partner gets the business.
